1. Who we are

We're the company behind Main Street Makeover, and we decide how your data is handled.

Fabric Games Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the information described in this policy.

This policy applies to the Main Street Makeover game and any related support we provide. It does not cover third-party services (like Google or Meta), which have their own policies.

2. What we collect

Device and usage data through our analytics and ad tools — not your name, account, or payment info.

We do not collect your name, email address, account credentials (there are no accounts), or payment details (there are no in-app purchases). Through the third-party tools in Section 5, we automatically collect:

• Device and technical data — device model, operating system, language, region, screen size, app version, and similar technical details.
• Advertising identifier — your Google Advertising ID (GAID), a resettable identifier you control in your device settings.
• Usage and analytics data — in-game events, session length, features used, progress, and crash/diagnostic data.
• Approximate (country/region-level) location — derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• Attribution data — information about the ad or source that led you to install the Game.

If you email us, we collect your email address and the contents of your message so we can reply.

3. How we use it

To run and improve the Game, fix crashes, and measure our advertising.

We use this information to operate, maintain and improve the Game; understand how it's used and diagnose bugs and crashes; measure which advertising campaigns lead to installs; protect against fraud, abuse and technical problems; respond to your requests; and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Consent and legal bases

Where the law requires it, we ask before tracking. Elsewhere, we rely on legitimate interests and give you an opt-out.

EEA / UK (GDPR & UK GDPR): We rely on your consent for analytics and advertising measurement (obtained via the prompt shown when you first open the Game), on legitimate interests for essential security and diagnostics, and on legal obligation where the law requires. You can withdraw consent at any time (Section 9).

Québec (Law 25): We obtain your express opt-in consent before any tracking technology is activated.

Rest of Canada (PIPEDA) and the United States: We rely on your consent (which may be implied for non-sensitive analytics where reasonably expected) and provide an opt-out for advertising-related tracking.

5. Who we share it with

Our analytics and advertising providers — Google and Meta. We don't sell your data for money.

We share data with the following providers, who process it to deliver the services above:

• Google (Firebase / Google Analytics) — analytics and crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy
• Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement and attribution via the Meta SDK. Meta Privacy Policy

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g. a merger or acquisition).

A note for US residents: We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising partners such as Meta may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out — see Section 8.

6. Where your data goes (international transfers)

Our providers process data in the US and elsewhere, protected by standard legal safeguards.

We operate no servers of our own; your data is processed on the infrastructure of the providers named above, primarily in the United States. Where data is transferred out of the UK/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU–US / UK Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. Where it is transferred outside Québec, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.

7. How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it.

We retain analytics and attribution data for up to 14 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request. We may retain information longer where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

8. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access or delete your data. Some regions have extra rights, listed below.

Everyone: Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@fabric-games.com. Because the Game has no accounts, we identify your data using the device identifier associated with your request.

EEA / UK residents additionally have the right to: restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO; in the EEA, your local data protection authority).

Canadian residents have the right to access and correct their information and withdraw consent. Québec residents additionally have the right to deletion, data portability, to be informed about automated decision-making, and to complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI).

California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect; delete it; correct it; opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of other US states with privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others) have similar rights. To opt out or exercise any right, email hello@fabric-games.com or adjust your device's advertising settings.

9. Managing and withdrawing consent

Change your mind any time, in the Game or in your device settings.

EEA / UK / Québec: Re-open the privacy options via the Settings > Privacy menu in the Game to change your choice.

All users: You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your Android device settings.

10. Children

The Game isn't for children, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

The Game is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age of consent — 13 in the United States, 14 in Québec, and 16 in the EEA/UK (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is perfect.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this; we'll change the date and give notice of material changes.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. Changes become effective 30 days after they are posted.
